Release Notes – Version v1.0.16

We’re letting you in on a little secret 🤫 — this release includes a sneak peek at AutonomyUpdate, our beta feature for updating existing components. It’s a long-awaited capability that makes it easier than ever to bring your components up to date with new designs — all powered by Fei, and all contextual to your code base🪄

🆕 New Features

  • This is HUGE - now you can have AutonomyUpdate (Beta): Select an existing component, upload a new Figma design or just describe the changes in plain English — and Autonomy will rewrite the component for you. Smart, fast, and seamlessly integrated. It’s still in beta and might be a little rough around the edges — but curious builders are welcome to try it and let us know what you think! 🕵‍♀️

🔍 Smarter Component Selection

  • Improved Local Component Detection: Better recognition of local components in your project ensures more accurate suggestions and cleaner updates.

🚨 P.S: After updating, please restart the Autonomy extension to apply the changes. You can do this by clicking "Disable" → "Enable" in the Extensions tab or reloading VS Code.

Thanks for using Autonomy!

Let us know what you think of the new AutonomyUpdate beta — your feedback helps shape what’s next. 🚀
